Message from the Superintendent
Dear Parents and Guardians:
I am humbled and honored that the Board of Education has appointed me as the Superintendent/Principal of the Tabernacle Township School District. It is incredibly exciting to step into this new role and lead this great district through our current remote learning situation and into the future.
Since I joined this district last July, it has been apparent that it is filled with students whose passion for learning is evergrowing; a staff that is dedicated, flexible, and compassionate; and parents who want the very best education possible for their children. I look forward to continuing to work with you all towards that pursuit.
Governor Murphy announced yesterday that all New Jersey school buildings will remain closed for the rest of the school year. This announcement obviously impacts all of us greatly, but I am proud that learning has continued for all of our students thanks to the combined efforts of our learners, our staff, and you. We know that this experience could not be successful without a team effort and are appreciative of the responses we have seen to date.
We have received a number of questions about collecting personal belongings from the buildings, and I assure you that we have been working on putting a plan together to enable this in a safe fashion. Once that plan is finalized, we will notify you.
Also, we know that this pandemic has changed the employment status for many of our parents/guardians. If you are impacted in this way and in need of assistance, please complete the free or reduced lunch application available on our website.
I wish you all continued good health and look forward to a brighter tomorrow!
