Curriculum Office

The Curriculum Department is responsible for ensuring that our students receive instruction that promotes critical thinking skills, engages students in the learning process, meets the needs of all learners, and equips them with skills needed in the 21st Century. Curriculum is continually revised and updated according to a review cycle, keeping them aligned with the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards. We also consult with our colleagues in both the Lenape Regional District and Burlington County to consolidate our resources, offer guidance, and support one another.

Professional development for educational staff is planned by the local professional development committee to empower the staff to meet the needs of students. This year the following will receive emphasis:
  • Classroom management through the implementation of the Responsive Classrooms and Developmental Design programs
  • Differentiated Instruction to meet the needs of our varied learners
  • Infusing technology into our classrooms and lessons

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:7C-6.6, beginning in the Fall of 2016, school districts and charter schools must, by October 1 of each year, provide parents and guardians certain information on any State assessment or commercially-developed standardized assessment that will be administered in that school year.

If a student is permitted extra time or any other accommodations by their IEP, parents/guardians should contact their Child Study Team Case Manager for additional details on accommodations and accessibility options.

Click here for Notice of Assessments Used in District.

Thank you.
